CAQA Torque Automotive, automotive dealership, service and repair
CAQA Torque Automotive is a multi-franchise dealership group that sells new and used passenger vehicles and light commercials, services and repairs vehicles of every make, and supplies genuine and aftermarket parts to the trade and to the public. The business began as a two-bay independent workshop in Dandenong in 1996 and now runs a twelve-bay service workshop, a dedicated hybrid and electric vehicle bay, a tyre and alignment centre, a parts warehouse and a sales yard that turns over more than two thousand vehicles a year. Customers range from families and tradespeople to fleet operators, local councils and community transport providers.
The group is organised into six departments: the service workshop, parts and accessories, vehicle sales, service reception and customer care, administration and finance, and a small safety, quality and compliance team that reports directly to the dealer principal. The Dandenong South site opens six days a week with technicians rostered across an early shift starting at 7:00 am and a late shift finishing at 6:00 pm. Geelong runs a single day shift, and the Truganina parts centre dispatches trade orders twice daily. Apprentices rotate through the workshop, the tyre centre and the parts counter during their training.
Safety first
No job is so urgent that it justifies an unsafe shortcut, and every person on site has the authority to stop work.
Honest advice
Customers are told what a vehicle needs, what can wait and what it will cost before any work begins.
Craft and care
Work is done to manufacturer specification, checked before release and backed by a written warranty.
Respect for the trade
Apprentices are taught properly, tools are looked after and the workshop is left ready for the next shift.
Services and operations
To keep every customer safely on the road through honest advice, skilled repair and parts that arrive when they are promised.
Logbook servicing and repairs
Scheduled servicing to manufacturer intervals, brake, steering, suspension, cooling and driveline repairs, and electrical fault diagnosis for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles of all makes.
Hybrid and electric vehicle service
Depowering, inspection, battery health checks and high-voltage component repairs carried out by technicians trained to work on hybrid and battery electric vehicles in a dedicated isolated bay.
Tyres, wheels and alignment
Tyre supply and fitting, puncture repair, wheel balancing and four-wheel alignment using a laser alignment rig, with tread depth and pressure checks on every service.
Roadworthy and safety inspections
Pre-purchase, pre-delivery and certificate of roadworthiness inspections completed by licensed vehicle testers using the workshop inspection checklist and documented defect reporting.
Parts and accessories
Genuine and quality aftermarket parts, lubricants, batteries and accessories for retail and trade customers, with twice-daily dispatch to workshops across the western and south-eastern suburbs.
New and used vehicle sales
Franchise new vehicle sales, appraised and reconditioned used vehicles with statutory warranty, trade-in valuation, finance referral and fleet supply for small business and community organisations.
