Hoist 7 back in service after inspection
Hoist 7 has passed inspection by the hoist contractor and is back in service. The near miss on 1 September happened because a lift pad was placed on a sill seam instead of the marked lifting point. Every lift must start with the lifting points confirmed from the repair information. Raise to 300 millimetres, stop and check before continuing.

New brake cleaner quarantined until safety data sheet is filed
A new brand of brake cleaner arrived without its safety data sheet. The cartons are quarantined in the parts office and must not be issued until the sheet is filed and the product is on the Hazardous Substances Register. Thank you to the parts team for catching it. Any new chemical must go through the register before it reaches a shelf.

Used vehicle warranty wording
A recent online review pointed out that a salesperson described the used vehicle warranty as three months. Statutory warranty periods under the Motor Car Traders Act depend on the age and kilometres of the vehicle and the Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply regardless. Please use the approved warranty wording on the yard sheet and refer questions to the Sales Manager.
